In world-wide countries of low and middle income, annually about 5 million people die of cancer. Among these, about 70% missed the treatment period as cancers had been found too late. By the reason of enormous financial burden, this social class of low and middle income has been excluded from the priority of national health policy.

Korea Nuclear International Cooperation Foundation (KONICOF) is an affiliated organization under the government who carries out the international cooperation in the field of nuclear power. In order to contribute to the establishment of a network between membership countries to foster future talented personnel; and improve the professionalism in the field of nuclear power and reinforce the diagnosis and treatment of cancers for improved survival rate of patients with cancers, KONICOF has created an online education course on radiation medicine for ANENT members.

The main target of this course are Medical Oncologist, Nuclear Medicine Physician, Cyclotron Engineer, Radiopharmacist, Radiochemist, Imaging Technician and Radiation Safety Officer(RSO) in Asia and Middle East countries. This course is an open course that will be open to all ANENT members through the ANENT LMS platform. The course is divided into 3 sections: Radiation Therapy, RI Technology and Radiation Safety. It consists of 24 30-minutes long online lectures and 1 evaluation testing.

Those who wish to take the course can freely access the course should they have an account of the ANENT LMS. Please refer to the attached introduction video, information material, and the ANENT LMS page of 'E-learning on Radiation Medicine' for more details.
