ANENT Signs the New Collaboration Agreement among Nuclear Education Networks 
To Replace the Collaboration Agreement
between the regional education networks signed in 2017, Chair Xiao Jing Guo has
signed a new collaboration agreement on behalf of ANENT members on February 25,
2021. This new agreement not only includes the regional networks that have
signed the previous agreement, but also has been extended to include national
networks like BNEN, NTEC, and UNENE.
To be specific, this agreement is made
between the following Regional Networks: the Asian Network for Education in
Nuclear Technology (ANENT), the Latin-American Network for Education in Nuclear
Technology (LANENT), the African Network for Nuclear Education, Science and
Technology (AFRA-NEST), the European Nuclear Education Network Association
(ENEN) and the Regional Network for Education and Training in Nuclear
Technology (STAR-NET) and the National Networks: the Belgian Nuclear higher
Education Network (BNEN), the Nuclear Technology Education Consortium (NTEC)
and the University Network of Excellence in Nuclear Engineering (UNENE).
By signing this agreement, the eight
networks pledged to collaborate on a variety of topics. The topics include 1) leadership
and management skills, 2) research and development on nuclear education and
technology, 3) sharing information teaching materials and tools for education, training
and outreach related to nuclear technology, and 4) exchanging students,
teachers and researchers. The agreement’s work plan will be reviewed and agreed
by the networks annually.
This new agreement will
remain valid for a period of four years after signature by all networks. Please
