Workshop for planning and developing and effective outreach program through IoT was held in Thailand, from 25 to 29 September 2017, with the support of the IAEA and hosted by Chulalongkorn university in Bangkok. The objective of the 5-day workshop, which was to share the good practices in nuclear education, training and outreach activities in nuclear science and technology. Close to 30 participants from all over the Asia-Pacific region attended the workshop.

 

During the workshop, each member country participants provided their good practices in e-learning and outreach activities. Chulalongkorn University shared Thai MOOC, Innovative approaches for teaching science students with disabilities, science promotion through the use of SNS for students.. Also participants visited the Science Square Museum at Chulalongkorn University.

 

On the workship participants agreed on an implementation plan and recommendations for the IAEA TC Outreach Action Plan (2017-2019) in three groups based on RAS/0/075.
